We would like to inform you that as of 20 October 2017 the PCA has been decided updating the scope of accreditation No. AB 819. The update refers to the identification of Salmonella sp. according to PN-EN ISO 6579-1:2017-04.
Edition 12 of the scope of accreditation can be found under Offer -> Laboratory tests or directly on the website of the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
On October 14th, a training was held for the staff of our laboratory.
The guiding theme is: "New standardization requirements for the sampling and preparation of samples from the food chain for microbiological testing in accordance with PN-EN ISO 6887-1 to 6".
Topics included:
- the status of PN-EN ISO 6887-1 to -6;
- the importance of the stage of sampling and preparation of test samples for microbiological analysis of food;
- legal requirements and recognition bodies in the collection and preparation of food samples for microbiological examination.
The training was organized by company of the A2K CeNT Scientific and Technical Center.
The trainer was Mrs. Tamara Kostrzewa, which we would like to thank.

On 20-22.09.2017, representatives of aur laboratory participated a conference organized by ARQUES.
Conference entitled: “Environmental protection has many names”.
The place of the conference is: Tagungsort CVUA-OWL Chemisches und Veterinäruntersuchungsamt Ostwestfalen-Lippe Detmold.
Among the speakers of the conference was our colleague Mrs Aneta Koła, who discussed “Laboratory tests and sampling in accordance with the reguirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 13 November 2015 concerning drinking water”.
On 05 and 06.09.2017 the staff of our laboratory participated in a conference organized by the Foundation of Doctor Eberhard Lienhop with the participation of GISTA ZERT.
The place of the conference is: Tagungsort CVUA-OWL Chemisches und Veterinäruntersuchungsamt Ostwestfalen-Lippe Detmold.
During the conference were discussed "Current topics in the field of science, food law and the meat processing industry".
The conference was led by Doctor Dieter Stanislawski and lecturers from science, research institutes, laboratories, the meat industry, representatives of QS and IFS.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to announce that on 14st Juni 2017 the Polish Centre for Accreditation as a results of the evaluation in the process of supervision has been decided to extend, upgrade and adjusting the scope No AB 819 for Independent Research Laboratory STANLAB LLC. We inform that on 27th June 2017 a group of our workers was delegated from the laboratory and participated in a training organized in Warsaw by the State Sanitary Inspectorate, "Sampling water for testing".
On March 3rd and 22nd 2017, the Arques company organized a training for our laboratory staff on "Sampling of water for human consumption".
